Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are very excited to be kicking off our Starbuck Hockey Academy’s annual fundraiser. This year we will again be selling the Starbuck Academy Gold Card, which sells for $20. The discount card offers hundreds of dollars in savings from local businesses. There are many offers from merchants such as Coop, Freshii, Qdoba, The Chopped Leaf, Montana’s, and many more! The cards are easy to sell and Starbuck Hockey Academy will receive 50% of the total sales of Gold Cards amounting to $10 per card. Last year our school was able to raise over $7,000!
Please start thinking of people you know who would be willing to support your child and the school by buying a card. Email and text can be a great way to get the word out to many people with ease. This year’s fundraising efforts will go towards the construction of our Starbuck Hockey Academy Showcase Wall in the Starbuck Arena.
Each student will be given 10 Gold Cards to start and will earn 5 FREE cards for selling all 10 ($100 value). All order cards and money must be turned in to the school no later than Tuesday, October 17th. Cheques should be payable to Starbuck Hockey Academy.
Selling these cards is not mandatory and should be returned to your child’s homeroom teacher if you will not be participating.
Prizes this year include:
- If you sell 10 cards, you will receive 5 free cards ($100 value)
- Pizza party for top-selling class
- Pizza party for all classes if we sell 700 cards!
- Top overall seller receives a $100 gift card of their choice
