Information About School Closures Due To Weather

If we have to close school in RRVSD due to winter weather conditions, parents will be notified as soon as possible. The decision to close schools will likely be made between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
School closure notification will also be made on Twitter, Instagram and will be posted on the RRVSD website as well as every school website in RRVSD
The RRVSD Twitter handle is @rrvsd1 and you can find Red River Valley on Instagram at rrvsd1.
As well, announcements of closures will be made on the following media outlets:
CJOB, CBC, CFAM, Country 88, Eagle 935, CHSM, CILT, CTV, Global and Magic 105.
When schools are closed for winter weather conditions(visibility, road conditions, temperature, or windchill), these closures will be non-instructional days for students.
